Join a highly regarded country house hotel in the heart of the Cotswolds, known for its seasonal menus, outstanding service, and a dedicated 2 AA Rosette kitchen. We are seeking an experienced Pastry Chef to take ownership of the pastry section and contribute to an evolving fine dining offering.
Lead and manage the pastry section day-to-day
Create and execute a variety of plated desserts, afternoon teas, breads, and viennoiserie
Collaborate with the Head Chef on new seasonal pastry concepts
Ensure consistency and quality across all pastry offerings
Train and develop junior team members
Support general kitchen operations where needed
Minimum of 4–5 years’ experience in rosette-level or fine dining pastry kitchens
Previous experience in a similar Pastry Chef or senior pastry role
High-level pastry skills and strong attention to detail
Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-standard kitchen
Multi-skilled across various kitchen sections is advantageous
A strong communicator and team player with a calm, professional approach
Competitive salary: £38,000–£39,000 per year
Tips paid monthly (approx. £3,000+ annually)
4.5-day workweek wherever possible
