We are seeking a committed and passionate Pastry Chef
to support our Pastry team in the daily operation of our acclaimed Michelin
star kitchen. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment,
contribute to our evolving culinary vision, and benefit from exceptional
training and development opportunities.

What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting
    the Exec Pastry Chef with the smooth and efficient running of the pastry
    section.
  • Demonstrating
    excellent leadership skills by guiding and supporting junior chefs in
    completing daily tasks.
  • Leading
    the team on your section to consistently deliver exceptional standards of
    food quality and presentation.
  • Working
    closely with Lisa Goodwin-Allen and the Exec Pastry Chef to further
    develop Northcote’s culinary vision in preparation for our exciting
    expansion, including the launch of a new restaurant.
  • Maintaining
    the highest standards of hygiene, food safety, and organisation within the
    kitchen.
  • Contributing
    to a positive and collaborative team environment.

What we're looking for:

  • A
    genuine passion for food and a desire to learn and develop within a
    Michelin-starred environment.
  • Proven
    experience as a Pastry Chef, demonstrating a strong foundation in refined technique.
  • Excellent
    organisational and time-management skills.
  • The
    ability to work effectively under pressure and as part of a team.
  • Strong
    communication and leadership potential.
  • While
    experience in a Michelin-starred kitchen is desired but not essential,
    a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn are crucial.
