Job Title: Pastry & Afternoon Tea Commis Chef

Location: St Andrews, Fife

Contract: Permanent, Full-time

As a Commis Chef at Fairmont, St. Andrews, you will play a pivotal role in our kitchen working alongside a fantastic and welcoming team.

You will have opportunities to learn, share knowledge, and be part of an environment that brings out the best in you!

What you will be doing:

  • Assist in the preparation of dishes in a timely fashion and to agreed standards.
  • Help with and control the preparation for your section, working cleanly and hygienically, observing all health and safety guidelines.
  • Ensure the smooth running of your section and maintain Fairmont St Andrews Scotland standards across all areas, keeping section paperwork up to date in line with legislative requirements.
  • Attend organised training sessions and ask questions to develop your skills.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be eligible to work in the UK.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work cohesively and collectively as part of a team.
