As a Pastoral Tutor, you support students' personal, social, and academic development through weekly group tutorials and 1:1 sessions. You help learners set goals, overcome challenges, and stay on track with their studies. Working closely with teaching staff and support teams, you monitor attendance, identify students at risk, and ensure they receive the right support. You also contribute to enrichment activities, promote wellbeing, and play a key role in creating a positive and inclusive campus environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging weekly group tutorials that support personal development and wellbeing.
  • Provide 1:1 support to students, setting and reviewing SMART targets.
  • Monitor attendance and engagement, identifying and supporting at-risk learners.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff, parents, and support teams to ensure student success.
  • Support students with progression planning, including UCAS and work experience.
  • Contribute to enrichment activities and promote a positive campus culture.
