  • Proven experience in a pastoral or similar support role.
  • A proactive and solution-focused approach.
  • An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service, or the willingness to apply for one.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Providing one-to-one and group support to students.
  • Developing and implementing individualised support plans.
  • Liaising with parents, teachers, and external agencies.
  • Monitoring student progress and well-being.
  • Managing and de-escalating challenging behaviours.
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential student records.
  • Contributing to the school's safeguarding procedures.

  • Delivering workshops and interventions on key pastoral issues.
  • Reporting on student welfare to the leadership team.
