Salary: £24,000 - £28,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Are you a compassionate, resilient, and proactive individual with a passion for supporting young people? A well-regarded special educational needs (SEN) school in Ealing is seeking dedicated Pastoral Support Workers to join their nurturing and dynamic team.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and young people with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Build strong, positive relationships with students to support their emotional well-being and engagement in school life
Provide one-to-one and small group pastoral support to help pupils manage emotions, behaviour, and social interactions
Monitor student welfare and behaviour across the school day, working closely with teaching staff, therapists, and families
Support the implementation of behaviour and emotional support plans
Promote a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment
Assist in managing transitions, incidents, and conflict resolution
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience working with children or young people, ideally in an educational, SEN, youth work, or mental health setting
A calm, empathetic, and consistent approach to behaviour and emotional support
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to remain positive and proactive under pressure
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of all pupils
