Job summary

Place Partnership is seeking a dedicated Student Support Worker (Maternity Cover) at Wath Academy to provide pastoral care and support for students’ wellbeing and development.

You will work closely with teaching staff, parents, and external agencies to promote engagement and remove barriers to learning, within a busy secondary school setting. The role requires empathy, reliability and strong relationship-building with pupils and families.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children and young people, ideally in educational or pastoral settings.
• Strong communication skills with students, staff and families.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently when required.
