Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated SEND Learning Mentor to join a welcoming specialist school in Ferryhill. You will provide pastoral and learning support to pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH and communication needs, helping them feel safe, supported and ready to learn.

The role involves 1:1 and small-group support, building strong relationships with pupils and working closely with teaching staff to remove barriers to learning, while promoting social and emotional development and

Qualifications

• Experience as SEND Teaching Assistant or Learning Mentor preferred.
• Ability to build strong relationships with pupils.
• Calm, patient and consistent demeanour.

Protocol Education is looking for a dedicated SEND Learning Mentor to join a welcoming specialist school in Ferryhill.

The school supports pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH and communication needs. The successful candidate will play an important role in helping pupils feel safe, supported and ready to learn.

You’ll provide consistent pastoral and learning support, helping pupils manage challenges, build positive relationships and develop the confidence they need to succeed.

Your responsibilities
