Job summary

Star Salford Academy in Salford is seeking a dedicated Pastoral Manager to support the welfare and development of our pupils, underpinning a caring and inclusive learning environment.

You will bring a Counselling / Pastoral background and a track record of working with young people in a secondary school, delivering counselling and careers guidance, and building positive relationships with students and staff.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Counselling /Social Care or Careers.
• Experience of working with young people and families in a Secondary School setting.
• Experience of providing counselling/pastoral support or careers guidance within a Secondary School setting.
• The ability to maintain positive relationships with students and other adults.
• The ability to work effectively and sensitively with a range of groups and individuals.
