• Previous experience in a pastoral, mentoring, or behaviour support role within a school setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students, families, and staff.
• The ability to remain calm and solution-focused when managing challenging situations.
• A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
• A CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with any gaps explained.

Responsibilities

• Provide pastoral support to students, addressing welfare, attendance, and behavioural concerns.
• Build trusted relationships with pupils to encourage confidence, engagement, and resilience.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to support students’ holistic development.
• Monitor attendance and behaviour data, implementing effective interventions where required.

As a Pastoral Manager, you will work closely with pupils, staff, and families to create a safe, positive, and inclusive school environment where every student can thrive both academically and personally.
