The Wings’ CE Trust is looking for a dedicated Pastoral Manager to join their team in Atherton, England. This position involves managing the pastoral care function and ensuring the wellbeing and development of students. The successful candidate will promote high standards of behaviour and work collaboratively with staff, families, and external agencies.

Based at: St Mark’s CE Primary School, Alexandra Street, Newtown, Wigan, WN5 9DS
Salary: Grade 7, £28,629 – £31,937 per annum.
37 hours per week, term time plus 2 weeks working 40 weeks per year.

We are seeking to appoint a committed, compassionate, and highly organised Pastoral Manager to join our dedicated team and play a key role in supporting the wellbeing, behaviour, attendance, and personal development of our students.
The successful candidate will lead and manage the pastoral care provision within the school, working closely with students, families, staff, and external agencies to ensure that every student feels safe, supported, and able to thrive both personally and academically.
Job Purpose: You will be responsible for promoting high standards of behaviour, attendance, safeguarding, and student welfare while contributing positively to the inclusive ethos and values of the school.
