Netherthorpe Primary School is seeking a Learning Mentor to provide pastoral support and lead wellbeing interventions for pupils. You will work closely with children, families and staff to understand needs and remove barriers to learning, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.

You will deliver targeted programmes, support positive behaviour and engage with external agencies to ensure holistic support for learners.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering pastoral interventions and wellbeing support.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with children, families and staff.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Resilience and compassionate approach to barriers to learning.

Responsabilités

• Provide pastoral support for children needing wellbeing, behaviour, attendance or engagement help.
• Deliver targeted interventions and small group programmes to build confidence and resilience.
• Work with children to identify barriers to learning and help them participate fully.
• Support the Senior Leadership Team in promoting positive behaviour across the school.
• Build positive relationships with parents and carers and act as a point of contact when appropriate.
• Liaise with external agencies to coordinate support for children and families.
• Support safeguarding and contribute to a nurturing, inclusive school ethos.
