Job summary

Alder Community High School in Tameside is seeking a dedicated Pastoral Leader to strengthen wellbeing, behaviour and attendance. You will work closely with students, families and staff to remove barriers to learning and support personal development.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pastoral Leader to join our inclusive and forward-thinking team at Alder Community High School. This is a permanent appointment which is subject to a 6-month probationary period. The normal hours of work are 36 hours per week. The position is term time only (including INSET days) plus 5 additional days. The additional days will be worked flexibly to cover events outside of the normal school day or during the school holidays. Additional holidays cannot be taken during term time.
