Job description

Pastoral Lead Dates: ASAP - 22/07/2025 Location: Bristol (North) Salary: £120 - £140 per day Hours: full-time (Monday - Friday 0830am - 300pm) possibly part-time Type: fixed-term contract

An interesting opportunity has arisen to join this large and culturally diverse Secondary school in the North of Bristol. Due to staff absence the school have an immediate need for additional capacity to support in the pastoral team. The role will involve supporting children working independently temporarily asked to work outside the classroom. Usually this is handling low-level disruption and non-physical behaviours. This role will suit an empathetic and dependable individual who is able to build relationships and uphold rather than exercise boundaries.

This role, although on and interim fixed-term contract basis, may lead on to other opportunities at the school or within the trust. The school is part of a large, well-run & managed and successful trust. You will be working amongst some of the most experienced, caring and dedicated education professionals.
