Job summary

Woodlea, part of Endeavour Learning Trust, seeks a dedicated Higher-Level Teaching Assistant with a pastoral focus to support pupils, especially those with SEND or barriers to learning. You will work with SENDCO and the family support worker to ensure every pupil can access the curriculum and participate in school life.

Qualifications

• Able to plan and deliver high-quality learning experiences for whole classes, groups and individuals.
• Support pupil assessment, develop resources and contribute to a stimulating learning environment.
• Provide strong pastoral support, assisting vulnerable children and building positive relationships with families.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons and learning activities.
• Support teachers with classroom duties and cover staff absences as needed.
• Deliver targeted interventions to support progress and remove barriers to learning.
