Job summary

Responsibilities

As a Pastoral Care Manager you’ll take the lead in enabling your team to meet our young people’s emotional needs. You’ll work with families and develop person‑centred programmes for each individual, applying high standards of care and creating a positive learning environment where every young person can thrive.

Minimum Experience and Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years experience with ASC, ADHD or SEMH pupils and working with families in challenging circumstances.
  • Experience of multi‑agency work with an understanding of legislation, policies and guidance around safeguarding and child protection.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Care or Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification.
  • Ideally a leadership‑related qualification.
  • Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) training.
  • Experience of staff appraisal / performance management and supervision.
