Job summary

Minister of Religion in the United Kingdom is seeking a faith-led leader to serve as Director of Personnel and Welfare Pastor. The role focuses on preaching, teaching and pastoral work while working alongside the senior pastor to strengthen the church's mission and welfare programs.

You will oversee ministries such as Sunday School and outreach, conduct ceremonies, and provide guidance to staff and volunteers, ensuring spiritual, emotional and physical well-being in the congregation.

Qualifications

• Pastoral leadership and preaching abilities.
• Experience in church welfare and staff support preferred.
• Ability to work under senior pastoral direction.

Responsibilities

• Work with the senior pastor to enable the church to focus on the Great Commission and its five NT functions: evangelism, discipleship, ministry, fellowship, worship.
• Lead members to deeper personal evangelism; officiate Holy Communion, Christening, marriages and baptisms as required.
• Develop and deliver welfare strategies to improve staff and member well-being through targeted interventions.
• Oversee ministries such as Sunday School, Outreach, evangelism events and missions.
• Preach and teach the Bible faithfully in line with church doctrine.
• Engage with other ministers to deliver membership care and devotional resources.
• Take on additional duties as directed by management.
