Job summary

Firesafe Limited seeks a skilled Passive Fire Surveyor to conduct detailed surveys of passive fire protection in existing buildings and new developments. You will assess compliance with fire strategies, British Standards and third party certification, and produce clear, robust reports to support remediation and compliance.

You will need strong knowledge of compartmentation, fire stopping, fire doors and structural fire protection, plus the ability to interpret fire test evidence and assess

Qualifications

• Experience as Passive Fire Protection surveyor/inspector or supervisor.
• Working towards professional qualifications with IFE, ASFP or equivalent body.
• Technical qualification in passive fire protection, fire door inspection or fire risk assessment.
• Experience in fire safety sector including inspection of compartmentation and fire resisting elements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and undertake passive fire protection surveys across various building types.
• Inspect fire stopping, fire doors, cavity barriers and compartmentation for compliance with fire strategies and standards.
• Review drawings and fire strategy info to verify design intent vs site conditions.
