Job summary

InVision Group is seeking an experienced Surveyor to undertake fire door surveys across social housing properties, with some compartmentation surveys. You will inspect doors, identify defects and compliance issues, and produce detailed reports for remedial planning.

Qualifications

• Proven experience surveying fire doors and documenting findings.
• Experience in the social housing sector with fire safety standards knowledge.
• Full UK driving licence and strong reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out fire door surveys across social housing properties.
• Inspect fire doorsets, identifying defects, remedial requirements and compliance issues.
• Undertake occasional compartmentation surveys, including loft inspections.
• Produce accurate survey reports and recommendations.
• Liaise with clients, site teams and project management to support remedial works.
• Ensure surveys are completed in line with relevant fire safety standards.
