Job summary

Stoneham Construction Ltd on the Isle of Wight is seeking an experienced Fire Stopper to join projects across residential, commercial and healthcare sectors. You will install firestopping systems, seal penetrations and ensure compliance with specifications.

You will work with various firestopping products, maintain site records and liaise with supervisors to deliver quality works on time. NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection and a CSCS card are preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Fire Stopper/Passive Fire Installer.
• Strong knowledge of firestopping and compartmentation.
• NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Install firestopping systems in line with manufacturer specifications and project requirements.
• Complete penetration sealing, cavity barriers and compartmentation works.
• Work with a range of firestopping products and systems.
• Ensure all works are completed to the required quality and compliance standards.
• Complete site documentation and photographic records where required.
