Job summary

The Best Connection are seeking experienced Passive Fire Protection Operatives to support expanding workload across mainland UK. We are looking for skilled Intumescent Sprayers and Firestopping Installers who can deliver high‑quality work on a wide range of projects, from small works to large‑scale schemes, OR candidates with relevant experience who may have worked in a similar trade, labouring, painting, etc.

A valid CSCS card is a must have!

Qualifications

• Experience with airless spray equipment and DFT measurement.
• CSC card/CSCS compliance and quality standards.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist passive fire protection installations.
• Apply intumescent coatings to structural elements.
• Operate airless spray units and calibrate equipment.
• Use DFT measurement tools and follow manufacturer specs.
• Install firestopping systems and penetration seals.
• Install cavity barriers and structural boarding.
