Are you passionate about Fire Protection solutions and looking to advance your career? We are expanding our team in Manchester. You will support internal and external customers with passive fire protection engineering judgments, queries, specifications, and drawings, working on detailed technical designs for fire protection systems.

Role responsibilities include:

  • Handling technical inquiries from stakeholders, designing and specifying firestop products, creating engineering judgments and technical drawings, advising on installation and performance of fire protection systems.
  • Developing customized packages to meet project needs.
  • Analyzing technical specifications, drawings, and plans to recommend suitable products in compliance with standards.
  • Collaborating with fire protection teams to resolve technical issues and provide solutions.
  • Using internal systems to document queries and advice.
  • Supporting fire protection activities and maintaining CPD records to stay current with industry standards and regulations.

Minimum requirements:

  • Degree in engineering (Structural, Civil, Mechanical, or related).
  • Experience in Passive Fire Protection / Firestopping.
  • Knowledge of construction techniques, site procedures, and UK building terminology.
  • Strong technical writing skills.
  • Ability to analyze datasets and develop practical, compliant solutions.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Excellent networking and communication skills, including to non-technical audiences.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
