Job description

Passive Fire Engineer - Candidate will ideally be Midlands based, the role will involve UK wide travel

Marlowe Fire & Security, a specialist business within Marlowe Fire and Security Group, is seeking a skilled Passive Fire Engineer to join their team.

Basic Salary £27-32,000

Our Passive Fire Engineer's

As a Passive Fire Engineer, you will be responsible for installing components and systems that slow down and/or inhibit the spread of fire or smoke. This includes working on floor-ceilings and roofs, fire doors, windows, wall assemblies, fire-resistant coatings, and other fire and smoke control assemblies.

  • Installing and supervising Passive Fire Installations in accordance with the latest British and EN standards on projects of varying sizes
  • Ensuring Fire Stopping installations adhere to current industrial standards
  • Ensuring projects are delivered on time
  • Providing technical expertise and supporting risk assessments and method statements
  • Delivering regular updates through reporting programs

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Passive Fire Engineer
  • Minimum GNVQ Level 2 qualification in Fire Stopping
  • Familiarity with British Standards and EN regulations
  • Self-motivation and flexibility, with the ability to work away from home when required
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
