First Call Aviation is now recruiting for a number of positions both Full & Part time at Edinburgh Airport. These are immediate starts and are available immediately subject to passing the relevant security checks under aviation regulations.

About The Role

The main purpose of the role is to ensure the safe transfer of Passengers with Restricted Mobility (PRM) through the airport terminal in a timely manner, providing mobility assistance and enabling passengers to enjoy all aspects of the airport experience.

We are looking for a customer focused and friendly individual to join our team of workers and help create a memorable experience for every visitor to the airport.

Main Duties:

  • Meet and greet arriving/departing/transferring Passengers with Restricted Mobility (PRM)
  • Communicate effectively with the passengers and staff
  • Assist Passengers with Restricted Mobility (PRM) at drop off/pick up points, airline check-In, airport security and pre-boarding aircraft.
  • In a safely manner, assist in the transfer of passengers from aircraft to airport terminal using various equipment
  • Comply with all Health & Safety regulations.
  • Use company equipment responsibly ensuring all equipment

To be successful in the role, you will need:

  • A self starter with great communication skills
  • Able to work within a team and also separately
  • Ability to communicate with people and colleagues at all levels
  • The ability to lift passengers in accordance with manual handling guidelines.
  • Able to work any shift from 03:00 to 23:00 Monday to Sunday on a shift roster basis
  • Be flexible to business and airport needs.
  • Hold a valid UK Driving Licence

Aviation Vetting

  • A full 5-year history. Ideally a printed Personal Tax Account
  • All details to obtain references
  • A Disclosure Scotland Certificate (issued in the last 6-months) – not essential
