Job Advert

The Transport Planning Unit on behalf of Social Work Services operates transport to and from the Adult Day Centre in Grangemouth.

We now require casual Passenger Assistants to join the transport team. Working with a driver, you will be responsible for transporting service users with physical, learning, and behavioral disabilities from their homes to and from the Adult Day Centres.

You will provide care and assistance to service users whilst traveling, boarding, and alighting. Ideally, you should possess a flexible and mature attitude, good communication skills, have some experience dealing with people with disabilities, and be available to work at short notice throughout the Falkirk Council area.

Working as and when required, the shift times are generally morning 8 am to 10 am and afternoon 3:00 pm to 4:45 pm, Monday to Friday.

If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership.
