Job summary

Interocean is seeking an experienced Party Chief / Senior Surveyor to progress into a Project Surveyor role, with occasional offshore and nearshore work. Aberdeen/Glasgow location, UK-based, with relocation to Aberdeen preferred.

You will blend technical survey duties with project planning, client liaison, tendering, documentation and coordination, with a clear path to Project Manager and hybrid working options.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Party Chief / Senior Surveyor in offshore and/or nearshore survey operations.
• Strong proficiency in the EIVA Suite - essential.
• Good understanding of the full survey project lifecycle, from tendering and planning through mobilisation, acquisition, QC, reporting and final delivery.
• Strong GIS capability with QGIS and /or Arcgis
• Experience in survey reporting, technical documentation and client deliverables.
• Practical experience with MBES, SSS, SBP and positioning systems, including exposure to USBL and LBL operations.
• Beamworx experience is desirable but not essential.
• Strong understanding of survey data workflows, QC and project documentation.
• Good communication skills with the ability to work with clients, project teams and offshore personnel.
• A genuine ambition to develop into a Project Management position.
• British Citizen or UK ILR holder, with unrestricted right to work in the UK.
• Degree In Hydrography , CAT B or CAT A certified preferable
