A dynamic retail business in Cheshire seeks a part-time Financial Controller to enhance financial stability and controls. You will lead month-end processes, budgeting, and reporting, presenting to the board while working closely with SMEs to drive financial health.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of UK-based experience as a Financial Controller.
• Experienced with Excel, including pivots and sumifs.
• Confident in presenting financial information.

Responsibilities

We have an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and rapidly growing retail business in Cheshire. The business is growing and is in need of a reliable and hands on Financial Controller who will be able to hit the ground running and provide them with stability as well as improving robust financial controls and processes. You will also be pivotal to providing accurate reports and management information on a timely manner with the requirement of presenting this to the business owner.

Based:Deeside
Hours: Part-Time 2/3 days per week
Salary:£35 per hour
Role Type:Part-Time, self employed

As the Financial Controller you will be instrumental in shaping the Financial operations and controls of the business, alongside this your responsibilities will include:

Leading on month-end and the monthly Management Accounts, producing detailed insights and commentary for the board of directors

Lead on the budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management processes

Experienced excel user including pivots, sumifs and graphs

Experienced user of Xero

Confident with presenting information to financial/non-financial leader

Design, implement, and continuously improve financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
