Warehouse Manager required for a Trade Parts Site in North London

Salary: GBP 34,000 - 36,000 basic + Bonus

Working hours: Mon-Fri 8am-6pm; Alternate Saturdays 8am-1pm

Must have motor trade experience

Job purpose

To run an effective and efficient warehouse through team management to deliver excellent customer service, maintain stock integrity, and ensure efficient delivery schedules.

Key responsibilities
  1. Warehouse and sales performance: Set targets, monitor KPIs, review with management, and ensure team is updated on processes.
  2. Managing the team: Conduct performance reviews, motivate, train, recruit, and ensure smooth onboarding and transition.
  3. Customer service: Ensure high service levels, organize deliveries, respond to queries, and maintain professional image.
  4. Inbound stock: Check, allocate, and report anomalies of received stock.
  5. Outbound stock: Train team on picking, control stock movements, and ensure secure packaging and documentation.
  6. Stock integrity: Maintain accurate inventory, conduct checks, and process returns.
  7. Systems and processes: Follow health and safety regulations, maintain environment, and adhere to business processes.
  8. Customer experience and operational effectiveness: Manage self and people, demonstrate knowledge, and ensure quality customer service.

Experience and knowledge: Proven team management, effective communication, computer skills (Excel, SAP), passion for customer service, warehouse supervisory experience, and honesty for cash handling.
