Job description

About the role

We are looking for Parts Specialists responsible for providing adequate service to our customers and Service Providers in order to maximize customer satisfaction. Successful candidates will be responsible also for raising purchase orders and maintaining procurement records.

Location: Uxbridge, London area (Office-based)

Tasks & Typical duties/responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Book & manage parts in and out;
  • Deal with customer queries and orders, interpreting customer requirements and giving advice on any additional requirements or prices;
  • Work alongside the customer service team, identify and analyse customer’s pain points and latest demands;
  • Interpret customer’s needs for the parts team guiding purchasing and manufacturing with local suppliers in UK and Europe;
  • Sourcing of parts in a timely and efficient manner;
  • Dealing with orders- raising purchase orders and maintaining procurement records.
  • Providing central support helping to satisfy all procurement-related queries;
  • Summaries monthly sales figure and make purchasing planning of parts;
  • Ensure that all customer complaints are dealt with quickly and effectively;
  • Source suitable alternatives from local suppliers if needed;
  • Accounts and payment checking with customers by working closely with the finance team

Skills and requirements:

  • 2-3 year experience of working within a parts department or as a procurement specialist or in a similar position (purchasing, order processing, procurement);
  • Experience of dealing with customers and handling complaints;
  • Previous vehicle parts stock control experience;
  • Good telephone answering/interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise duties and motivate others;
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office, understanding of SAP and WMS (warehouse management system) is a plus;
  • Chinese speaking is beneficial.
  • Has right-to-work in the UK.
