Who are TPS?
TPS provides independent garages and bodyshops with high-quality Genuine Parts and products to service and repair Volkswagen Group vehicles. TPS is part of the Volkswagen Group, including brands like Audi, SEAT, ŠKODA, Volkswagen passenger cars, and Commercial Vehicles. Launched as a new brand concept in 2006, TPS operates on an Agency Model, stocking and selling on behalf of Volkswagen Group UK. TPS has experienced rapid growth in both revenue and the number of centres nationwide.
What will you be doing?
As a Parts Sales Executive, you will collaborate with the Sales Manager and team to meet business and sales objectives:
- Achieve personal KPIs and revenue targets with designated customers.
- Identify parts accurately to meet customer requirements.
- Utilize product promotions effectively to meet targets.
- Identify and leverage sales opportunities within the customer base.
- Maintain product knowledge and stay aware of competitor activity.
- Build strong relationships with customers through regular contact via phone and face-to-face visits.
- Provide excellent customer service by understanding requirements, responding promptly, and offering expert advice.
- Communicate promptly with customers regarding their credit status.
- Support the TPS Centre team to ensure excellent service and good working relationships.
- Work with the Sales Manager to achieve sales targets and ensure a cohesive sales approach.
- Handle incoming calls and inquiries within KPIs, using approved greetings.
- Use all systems properly to search and order parts.
- Complete documentation accurately and promptly.
- Manage cash and credit card transactions following TPS guidelines.
What are we looking for?
- A self-starter with a proven track record in building relationships and achieving sales in a B2B environment.
- Confident communicator with experience in fast-paced or telesales environments.
- Passion for delivering excellent customer service.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to build relationships with key stakeholders.
- A team player with determination to meet individual and sales targets weekly and monthly.
- Attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
- IT literate, preferably with good knowledge of MS Excel.
