Role: Parts Manager

Platinum Recruitment is working with an award-winning Plant Hire company. This is an opportunity for an experienced Parts Manager to join their team based in Horsham. This role will consider candidates from other industries as long as you have proven experience as a Parts Manager.

Your responsibilities as a Parts Manager will include:
  1. Oversee the procurement, inventory, and management of plant parts and accessories
  2. Maintain accurate stock levels and ensure timely ordering of parts
  3. Develop and implement efficient parts management processes and systems
  4. Liaise with suppliers and negotiate pricing and delivery terms
  5. Coordinate with the service and maintenance teams to ensure parts availability
  6. Monitor and control parts-related costs to meet budgetary goals
  7. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to parts handling
  8. Provide excellent customer service for internal and external stakeholders
  9. Supervise and mentor parts team members
