Adams Morey is offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team at the Bridgwater site as a Parts Apprentice.

This 2-year Parts Apprenticeship is ideal for those eager to enter the industry and develop their career, providing a comprehensive learning experience in the role.

Effective parts supply is crucial for vehicle operation, which depends on efficient stock management at the dealership. This role offers a chance to become a professional in parts logistics for commercial vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

The Apprentice Parts Person will gain skills across various areas, including safe storage, handling, receiving stock, payments, and procedures. Responsibilities include:

  1. Identifying, sourcing, and ordering parts;
  2. Monitoring and resolving customer inquiries;
  3. Processing customer orders;
  4. Working with customers and workshop staff via phone and face-to-face;
  5. Using computerized stock management systems and parts identification programs.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience, and Requirements

  • Maths & English Grades 4-9 or equivalent (A-C) is essential;
  • A commitment to excellent customer service and a passion for trucks or vehicles;
  • Knowledge of Commercial Vehicles is desirable;
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and a desire to build a career in the industry.

Hours of Work:

  • Monday to Friday, 08:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break;
