Parts Apprentice at MAN Truck and Bus

As our Parts Apprentice, you will play a vital role within our Dealership. The parts department is a thriving hub of activity, and your role will be fast-paced and varied day to day. Working with knowledgeable team members, we will grow and develop your skills and experience, ensuring your learning journey is diverse. As an MAN Parts Apprentice, you will learn all aspects of the workings of the parts department and beyond. Our purpose within the wider operation is to ensure the delivery of efficient and timely support to our valued customer base and their varied technical and sales-related enquiries for spare parts.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

1. Handling customer inquiries both on the phone and face-to-face.
2. Processing parts delivery inquiries using our sophisticated in-house systems to build your technical knowledge.
3. Serving parts to workshop technicians, giving you visibility of truck products and understanding how each component contributes to the vehicle.
4. Working in our parts warehouse, learning all aspects of stock control, picking and packing parts, handling goods inwards, maintaining stock levels, completing inventory checks, and managing parts returns.
