Day shift: 08:00 am - 4:30 pm, Back shift: 2:30 pm - 10:00 pm

We have a rare opportunity to join us as an Apprentice Parts Advisor at our Ayr depot. No experience? No problem! We will support you to develop your skills in this role.

This is a fantastic opportunity to learn while you earn! The apprenticeship programme allows you to become a skilled Parts Advisor, opening up excellent career prospects.

What you'll do:
  • Processing orders
  • Liaising with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries of vehicle parts
  • Receiving and storing vehicle parts
  • Leading the creation/development of Standard Operating Procedures
  • Completing supply chain documentation for audit requirements
  • Resolving problems including customer service issues
  • Identifying, managing, and escalating risks to the business
Who are you?

- Driving Licence required

- Able to identify different parts using catalogues and systems

- Numerical ability to work with part numbers

- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with internal and external stakeholders

- Ability to influence and sell additional parts

- IT literacy, proficient with DMS and related software

- Proactive, enthusiastic, approachable

- Attention to detail and accuracy

- Flexible and positive attitude towards change
