Ford & Slater Norwich is seeking a Parts Advisor to deliver top-quality parts service to customers face-to-face, over the counter, by phone and online. The role involves stock replenishment in a safe, efficient manner and promotion of the parts business.

You will work night shifts (Tue-Fri) and must be PC literate with a passion for trucks and parts, holding a full UK driving licence. The company offers training, incentives, and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Parts Advisor or similar role within HGV, commercial vehicle, motor trade or related sector.
• Experience in a Warehouse/Stores environment with passion for trucks and parts.
• Customer focused with excellent communication skills.
• Comfortable working unsupervised while on night shift.
• PC literate and able to use parts identification tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional parts sales service to internal and external customers face to face, over the trade counter, by telephone and online.
• Efficiently replenish stocks in line with health and safety regulations, creating new locations as needed.
• Promote and grow the parts business through proactive customer engagement.
• Utilise parts identification tools to ensure fast, accurate customer responses.
• Maintain records for all service exchange parts supplied/returned.
