Job Overview

Job purpose

Remit is recruiting on behalf of BikespeedUK, which offers an excellent opportunity to start your career in the Automotive Industry as an Apprentice Vehicle Parts Advisor.

The Apprenticeship Program allows you to work full-time and earn while you learn, gaining practical skills in an automotive training environment.

Your time will be spent in a workplace where you will learn from experienced mentors or qualified staff. You will develop technical knowledge about vehicle parts and assist customers with inquiries. The role may involve lifting heavy weights and general housekeeping duties.

Key responsibilities include dealing with goods inwards, locating vehicle parts within the Parts Department, rectifying orders, managing returns, and customer service both in person and over the phone.

  • Maintaining stock levels electronically and locating parts (picking).
  • Raising invoices and handling cash for sold parts.
  • Correctly storing incoming stock.
  • Identifying vehicle parts for a range of customers, including the public and dealership/service department staff.
  • Keeping the stock room organized and locating parts efficiently.
  • Collaborating with team members.
Qualifications and Skills

National 5 or above in English, Math, and another subject.

  • Strong IT, communication, numeracy, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
  • Driving license is preferred but not essential; local driving duties may be required.
  • Interest in the Automotive Industry, good organization, attention to detail, and ability to work in cold and dirty environments.

Initial assessments and interviews will be conducted by Remit Ltd.
