Job description

Brayleys are a multi-franchise vehicle dealership network representing Honda, Hyundai, Nissan, Honda Motorcycles, Mazda, Kia, Renault, Suzuki, and Dacia with branches across London, The Thames Valley, The Home Counties, The West Midlands & Greater Manchester. Our professional sales and service teams strive to give the best possible service in the purchase and maintenance of your new or used car, aiming for complete customer satisfaction.

Since its establishment in 2003, Brayleys has evolved from a single-location dealership into a well-regarded automotive group within the UK market. This growth has been driven by a strong commitment to customer service, operational excellence, and a business culture rooted in professionalism, transparency, and long-term value creation.

Brayleys is now part of the AW Rosamani Group, a Dubai-based family conglomerate, following their recent strategic investment as a major stakeholder. Founded in 1954, the Rostamani family has grown from a modest business venture into a multi-billion-dollar global enterprise. Their commitment to delivering exceptional products and services has been the cornerstone of their success. With extensive experience and a strong presence in the automotive sector, the Rostamani Group is an ideal partner to support Brayleys’ continued growth and future success.

We have exciting growth opportunities in the years ahead with the expansion of our existing network, investment in staff development, as well as exploring new brand opportunities. This drive and vision have reinforced our passion and determination to give our valued customers the widest choice, the highest quality cars, and the best possible customer service.

Our customers really are at the heart of everything we do.

“It's our stated policy to treat every visitor to Brayleys as a welcomed guest in our home... Every day. Every time. Without fail. No exceptions”

Job Description

The Role

We are seeking a well-organised Parts Advisor to join Brayleys Cars Limited’s Renault dealership in Milton Keynes. It’s a fast-paced environment where you will be part of the team reporting to the Service / Aftersales Manager. This role offers you the opportunity to use your customer service and administration skills to keep our service and parts departments running smoothly.

You’ll be joining an expanding business that represents Honda Passenger Cars, Honda Motorcycles, Nissan, KIA, Mazda, Hyundai, Renault, Dacia, and Suzuki across London, The Home Counties, The Thames Valley, The West Midlands, and the Greater Manchester area.

Unusually for our industry, the structure and workflows across our businesses mean that we can offer this role with NO REQUIREMENT FOR WEEKEND WORKING.

In addition to this fantastic benefit, we are able to offer the following comprehensive benefits:

  • Weekends off to spend time with your family, friends, and loved ones
  • An un-capped bonus scheme with very high earning potential
  • Minimum of 31 days holiday per year, increasing to 34 days with length of service rewards
  • State of the art tooling and workshop facilities
  • Preferential rates on new and used vehicles, parts purchases, and servicing across all our franchises
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Group Contributory pension scheme
  • Career development opportunities and career progression
  • In-house and manufacturer training
  • Enhanced maternity leave after a qualifying period
  • Independently certified as a Great Place to Work

With NO REQUIREMENT FOR WEEKEND WORKING, what does a typical weekday look like for one of our Parts Advisors?

As part of our aftersales team, you will be responsible for handling face-to-face, phone, and email queries and converting these to workshop bookings. You will manage the end-to-end customer experience. Day to day, you will:

  • Respond to enquiries from new and existing customers who need to make use of our workshop facilities
  • Invoicing and stock management
  • Periodic stock taking and stock cleansing
  • Maximise service & parts department profitability through the use of professional sales techniques
  • Maximise customer awareness of all available workshop services
  • Carrying out off-site parts deliveries to our customers
  • Occasionally assisting our service department driving team
  • Adhere to Brayleys and industry regulations

If I’ve never worked as a Parts Advisor before, what sort of background would make me a great fit for this role?

This is a common question. A successful Parts Advisor loves meeting people, helping people, and ensuring that every visitor has an outstanding experience.

You may have worked in hospitality, retail, or be returning to work after a career break. If you love meeting people, we are confident you’ll fit in well.

All new Parts Advisors receive comprehensive training to become experts in the role within the first 12 months.

If you have the following core skills, a career as a Parts Advisor in Automotive Retail could be ideal:

  • Influencing skills with confidence to convert enquiries to sales
  • Excellent customer management skills to build lasting relationships
  • Strong organisation and time management skills to meet deadlines
  • Intermediate IT skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Professionalism and adherence to process and procedure
  • Ability to embody Brayleys’ principle to treat every visitor as a welcomed guest
