Job Introduction

We are recruiting for a Parts Advisor to join our Land Rover Dealership in Solihull.

The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 18:00, with Saturdays on a rota basis.

Excellent Basic Salary with an OTE of up to £32,000 plus benefits.

A Parts Advisor plays a key role interacting with all areas of the business including sales, service, and customers. You will be involved in supplying Land Rover parts to the public, trade customers, and workshops. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with experience and a passion for exceptional customer service, working with one of the world’s leading car brands.

Role and Responsibilities
  1. The work is diverse, involving behind-the-scenes receipt of deliveries and front desk customer service.
  2. Responsible for pre-picking parts for workshop job cards, customer orders, and checking stock availability from various enquiries.
  3. Develop customer relationships via telephone, walk-in, and internet enquiries by providing product knowledge and creating a positive first impression.
  4. Ensure consumables and service parts are replenished regularly to provide swift service to workshops, departments, trade, and retail customers.
  5. Handle warranty claims related to parts and complete all relevant administration promptly and accurately, including customer records and invoicing.
  6. Develop knowledge of Land Rover products to understand vehicle parts and their functions.
About You
  1. Previous experience as a parts advisor within a dealership or motor factor knowledge in a similar role is preferred.
  2. Good understanding of cars and the ability to learn are valued; training will be provided for the right candidate.
  3. Ability to quickly establish rapport with customers.
  4. Proactive, sales-driven, and committed to high customer service standards.
  5. Excellent communication and organizational skills, capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Professional, able to work towards deadlines.
