Job summary

BYD Europe in Hounslow is seeking a Parts Advisor – Commercial Vehicle to support customers and service providers with parts enquiries and orders. You will identify and supply the correct parts, process invoices, and maintain stock accuracy while promoting genuine parts and accessories.

The role is office-based in Hounslow with duties including supplier coordination, returns handling, and adherence to health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in automotive or commercial vehicle parts sales/support.
• Experience dealing with customers and handling complaints.
• Previous vehicle parts stock control experience.
• Good telephone answering/interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritise duties and motivate others.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office; understanding of SAP and WMS is a plus.
• Chinese speaking is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and technicians with parts enquiries.
• Identify and supply correct parts using electronic catalogues.
• Process orders, quotations, and invoices accurately.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and manage stock levels.
• Promote and sell genuine parts and accessories.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely parts availability.
• Handle returns, warranty claims, and customer queries.
• Follow health, safety, and company procedures.
