Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Parts Advisor to join our Parts Team at our dealership at Chorley. With at least 2 years of experience as a Parts Advisor in a dealership environment, you will work closely with the parts and service teams to assist in the day-to-day operations of the parts department. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual looking to take the next step in their career within a dynamic, fast-paced franchised dealership

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Parts Team: Act as the relationship manager between service customers and the workshop, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction, including welcoming service customers to the dealership, dealing with all necessary paperwork, maintaining communication with the customer whilst their vehicle is being serviced or repaired and processing payments and follow up actions.
  • To maintain a high level of house keeping and to at all times.
  • Accurately and efficiently receive and record parts into stock
  • Manage and organise stock in the dealership
  • Assisting retail customers with their parts needs for their vehicles
  • Liaising with the service team to ensure they have the relevant parts for workshop jobs
  • Maintain pricing structures and stock lists
  • Ensure display vehicles in the dealership are fitted with the appropriate parts as required by the manufacturer

Essential Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a dealership environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in Dealer Management Systems and Workshop systems would be advantageous
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
  • Excellent phone manner and customer service skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £25,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
