Perfect Placement is recruiting on behalf of a well-established bodyshop in St Albans for an experienced Parts Advisor. You will join a busy team focused on friendly customer service, parts sales and building strong client relationships.

The role offers a stable, office-based environment with Monday to Friday hours (7am–4:30pm) and salary up to £35,000, with clear career progression into supervisory or management roles.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive parts experience required.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Full and clean driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and courteously to customer and internal parts requests.
• Promote excellent customer experience at all times.
• Handle sales of parts in branch and externally.
• Answer telephone and electronic enquiries efficiently.
• Report stock damages or losses to management.
• Maintain high standard of cleanliness and health & safety compliance.
• Support stock management and stock control activities.
• Collaborate with the team to meet sales targets.

Duties of a Parts Advisor

• Respond promptly and courteously to customer and internal parts requests
• Promote excellent customer experience at all times
• Handle sales of parts both in branch and externally
• Answer telephone and electronic enquiries efficientlyInclusion of correct formatting: Ensure no stray characters are missing; continuing correctly from previous bullet lines.
• Report stock damages or losses immediately to management
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and adhere to Health and Safety regulations
• Support stock management and stock control activities
• Collaborate with the team to meet sales targets and customer expectations

Requirements of a Parts Advisor
