Lookers in Chelmsford is recruiting for a Parts Advisor to join the team at Chelmsford Land Rover. The role is a permanent full-time position, 42 hours per week, with a salary of £28,000–£29,000 plus bonus, working on a rota basis.

You will handle retail and workshop orders, provide excellent customer care, and work closely with the Parts Manager and team to ensure stock is efficiently managed and orders are processed on the same day.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar Parts Advisor role.
• Excellent communication skills and practical knowledge of computer systems.
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.

Hours: 42 hours (Monday to Friday 8am to 5.30pm, Saturdays 8am to 12.30pm on a rota basis)

This is an excellent opportunity for the right person to join our friendly and professional team and be integral to the smooth running of our parts department. Working alongside a friendly and hard-working team of parts advisors, you will be able to build relationships and manage our customer’s expectations.

As a Parts Advisor, you will ensure that all customers at retail and workshop areas are dealt with quickly and efficiently and that all orders are processed on the same day.You will be required to complete all administrative functions in an accurate and timely manner and log any discrepancies of stock with the Parts Manager.

You will have previous experience gained in a similar role. You will possess excellent communication skills, and practical knowledge of computer systems. It is important that you can work as part of a team as well as having the ability to work independently.

You will be a people person with excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will be able to work both independently and as part of a dynamic team.
