Network Services needs to establish a coherent, end-to-end contract lifecycle management (CLM) function to bring rigor and compliance to >£500m of contract spend, aiming to reduce contract and value leakage. The In-Life Partner Management team will implement and maintain a contract management process focused on supplier performance, continuous improvement, and establishing a sustainable value pipeline that meets high-quality standards.

The Partnerships Specialist collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of supplier commitments, defines BT Networks’ third-party approach, and positions BT Networks with select sector-related suppliers.

This role is part of a new, diverse, and growth-oriented team, offering development opportunities. It can be based in London, Bristol, Birmingham, or Manchester, with a hybrid model requiring 3 days in the office weekly.

Responsibilities

You will manage a set of supplier contracts, oversee in-life relationships, and identify value and risk mitigation opportunities, ensuring supply chain sustainability.

Manage contract activities including variations, amendments, and change notices. Implement supplier governance, monitor KPIs, and report on supplier performance to ensure value for money.

Additional Responsibilities
  • Build relationships with stakeholders to meet objectives.
  • Coordinate to maximize contract value and optimize commercial constructs.
  • Identify process improvements for meeting budget obligations.
  • Manage and grow partnerships, providing strategic direction.
  • Contribute to partner management strategies ensuring performance.
  • Improve partnership processes and align with group strategies.
  • Develop new strategic relationships for mutual benefit.
  • Participate in supplier review meetings; travel may be required.
Skills and Experience

Background in partnerships, supplier management, or telecoms operations is preferred.

Skills include:

  • Managing risk: Identify, assess, and respond to risks, advising decision-makers.
  • Data analytics: Develop and use analytics for decision-making.
  • Measuring effectiveness: Track performance, interpret data, and generate insights.
  • Business partnership: Advise stakeholders and challenge appropriately.
