Job summary

New College Swindon is seeking a confident Business Development Partnership Consultant to join the Commercial Team and grow employer-led income across apprenticeships, adult skills, commercial training and higher education.

You will identify opportunities, build relationships with employers in Swindon, Wiltshire and beyond, and promote the college as a leading training provider. A proactive, target-driven approach and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

Proven BD, sales or targets-driven track record.
Strong prospecting and lead generation ability.
Excellent client management and relationship skills.
Confident communicator at all levels.
Proactive with results focus.
MS Office proficiency.
Maths & English L2 or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities with employers.
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
Promote New College Swindon as a leading training provider for employers.
Deliver presentations and pitches to secure new business.
Manage client relationships and maximise repeat business opportunities.
Carry out Training Needs Analysis to identify training and development opportunities.
Work with College teams to raise awareness of apprenticeships and support effective employer and learner onboarding.
Maintain accurate client records and activity on the College CRM.
Attend networking, employer and College events to develop new opportunities.
Work closely with Marketing, Curriculum, Adult and HE teams to provide a seamless service to customers.
