Job description

We have a new opportunity to be part of the Communications team in the role of Partnerships and Lifestyle Communications Executive.

As a Partnerships and Lifestyle Communications Executive, you will play a crucial role in developing and delivering engaging communications for Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team's commercial partners. Your work will support the storytelling of our sponsors and contribute to the team's goal of consistently being a top team in the FIA Constructor’s Championship.

You will be responsible for:

  1. Supporting the creation, delivery, and writing of compelling brand and media content across various channels, including media releases, digital platforms, and mainstream media.
  2. Providing administrative support to ensure smooth operations within the Communications department, including managing a partner communications calendar/tracker and supporting the Chief Communications Officer.
  3. Driving positive storytelling and securing earned media coverage in key markets (US, UK, EU, and MENA).
  4. Assisting in the development and execution of communications plans, with a focus on partnerships and off-track communications.
  5. Collaborating with the Senior Partnerships and Lifestyle Communications Officer to showcase partner stories, renewals, and new sponsor announcements.
  6. Working closely with the partnerships account team to identify media-worthy activations and secure earned media coverage.
  7. Assisting in media briefings for key spokespeople on partnerships, sustainability, and responsible business topics.
  8. Ensuring the efficient operation of the media office, including responding to media inquiries, scheduling interviews, drafting press releases, and organizing media sessions.
  9. Maintaining a media coverage repository, researching and curating media lists, and managing media coverage reports.
  10. Actively participating in team meetings and communications planning.

What you will need to be successful in this role:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., English, Journalism, PR).
  2. Experience in a busy communications team, ideally within the sports or lifestyle industries.
  3. Strong storytelling skills and an understanding of mainstream media trends.
  4. Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to maintain a brand’s messaging guidelines.
  5. Self-motivated and proactive approach, with a passion for creative storytelling.
  6. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  7. Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a willingness to learn and collaborate.
  8. A results-oriented mindset with confidence in decision-making.
  9. Enthusiastic and versatile, with the ability to build strong working relationships.
  10. Full driver’s licence and willingness to travel as required.

This is a full-time office-based role based at our campus in Silverstone, with additional requirement to travel to other locations where necessary.
