Job Description

OFX has developed a unique platform that can help accountants save time when managing their portfolio of clients.

We have an exciting new role of Partnerships Account Manager who will be responsible for activating and growing our partners to their full potential.

One aspect of our commercial strategy is to onboard referral partners who expand the OFX platform to their respective network of clients. This brings enormous benefits for both the partner and for the client. In this model, it is critical that our partners have the attention, support and tools necessary to grow. This role will ensure that partners are fully supported in their day-to-day needs as well as have a roadmap of progress over a longer-term relationship.

What you’ll do

  • Own the handover from Partnership Sales to Account Management. Within this hyper-care environment, you will be the bridge from partnership agreement through the activation period onto account management, ensuring that first impressions remain overwhelmingly positive.
  • Responsible for inside-sales of clients to ensure that they understand and have access to all product capabilities relevant to their needs. Client discovery comes through an ongoing and open dialogue built on a trusting relationship.
  • Building on your portfolio of client experiences, you will be able to simply and clearly explain the value-drivers that our platform brings to our partners and to the end-client.
  • You will be supported by a global, regional and local team. Critical to the role is internal and external stakeholder management of priorities.
  • You will be responsible that all partners are properly prepared to extend our platform to their clients, including up-to-date sales materials, product training, sales support, performance & financial reporting and metrics to show commercial incentives are working as planned.
  • As a Partnership Account Manager, you will be measured against overall revenue at an account level as well as partner engagement metrics.
  • Work closely with Partnership Sales and our Marketing team to identify any unforeseen gaps and then execute a plan to fill them.
  • You will become a product expert, with a technical and product knowledge of our SaaS platform that is unflappable.
Qualifications

What you’ll bring

  • Minimum 3 years work experience in the financial service industry, preferably in accounting, consultancy or partner management to a portfolio of SMEs.
  • Degree in accounting, business or related field.
  • Experience working with Xero, Sage or Quickbooks would be a welcome bonus.
  • Account management experience, with impeccable skills in communication, organisation and managing deliverables internally & externally.
  • Able to clearly and concisely show value-add to an audience that is often flooded with communication.
  • Ability to adapt and evolve in a quickly evolving organisation.
