Pro-Tax in Guildford is seeking a Partnership Tax Senior Manager to lead a broad set of personal and partnership tax matters for the firm and its partners. You will oversee returns, computations and tax planning while advising senior stakeholders.

The role blends technical tax, compliance and advisory work, requires strong UK personal and partnership tax experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with finance and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee partnership tax returns, computations and allocation of taxable profits.
• Advise partners on their personal tax affairs, including tax liabilities and payments on account.

• Liaise with HMRC on partnership and personal tax matters.
• Advise on international tax issues, including withholding tax, Double Tax Treaties and Certificates of Residence.
• Support the firm's tax governance, compliance controls and wider Tax Strategy.
• Work closely with finance and other internal teams to ensure effective tax compliance and reporting.

Partnership Tax Senior Manager

An exciting opportunity for a professionally qualified tax specialist to join a leading organisation, taking responsibility for a broad range of personal and partnership tax matters for the firm and its partners.

The role will have a strong mix of technical tax, compliance and advisory responsibilities, including:

• Overseeing partnership tax returns, tax computations and allocation of taxable profits.
• Advising partners on their personal tax affairs, including tax liabilities and payments on account.
• Managing capital allowances, tax provisions and related tax reporting.
• Liaising with HMRC on partnership and personal tax matters.
• Advising on international tax issues, including withholding tax, Double Tax Treaties and Certificates of Residence.
• Supporting the firm's tax governance, compliance controls and wider Tax Strategy.
• Working closely with finance and other internal teams to ensure effective tax compliance and reporting.

The ideal candidate will be:

• Professionally tax qualified with strong UK personal and/or partnership tax experience.
• Technically strong with excellent attention to detail.
• Confident communicating with senior stakeholders and advising partners.
• Highly organised with strong planning and time-management skills.
• Experienced in Excel; knowledge of CCH Personal Tax or Alphatax would be advantageous.
• VBA/macros experience would be useful but is not essential.
