Job summary

PRO-TAX RECRUITMENT LIMITED seeks a Partnership Tax Senior Manager to lead a broad portfolio of personal and partnership tax matters for the firm and its partners. The role combines technical tax work with advisory responsibilities and close HMRC liaison.

The ideal candidate will be professionally tax qualified with strong UK personal and partnership tax experience, plus excellent communication and organisational skills for senior stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Professionally tax qualified with strong UK personal and/or partnership tax experience.
• Technically strong with excellent attention to detail.
• Confident communicating with senior stakeholders and advising partners.
• Highly organised with strong planning and time-management skills.
• Experienced in Excel; knowledge of CCH Personal Tax or Alphatax advantageous.
• VBA/macros experience would be useful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing partnership tax returns, tax computations and allocation of taxable profits.
• Advising partners on their personal tax affairs, including tax liabilities and payments on account.
• Managing capital allowances, tax provisions and related tax reporting.
• Liaising with HMRC on partnership and personal tax matters.
• Advising on international tax issues, including withholding tax, Double Tax Treaties and Certificates of Residence.
• Supporting the firm's tax governance, compliance controls and wider Tax Strategy.
• Working closely with finance and other internal teams to ensure effective tax compliance and reporting.

An exciting opportunity for a professionally qualified tax specialist to join a leading organisation, taking responsibility for a broad range of personal and partnership tax matters for the firm and its partners.

The role will have a strong mix of technical tax, compliance and advisory responsibilities, including:
