Manchester City Women is an English football club initially founded by City in the Community in 1988. Relaunched through a formal partnership with Manchester City FC, MCWFC entered the FA Women’s Super League and professionalized in 2014. The team has achieved success in the FAWSL, Women’s FA Cup, and Continental Tyres League Cup, and has competed in the UEFA Women’s Champions League.

The team plays its home fixtures at Joie Stadium, a 7,000-capacity arena located on the Etihad Campus, which also includes the City Football Academy, a state-of-the-art training and development facility.

Our Winning Team

We are seeking a talented Partnership Sales Manager to join our team and drive the acquisition of global partners for Manchester City Women. You will contribute to our success by securing strategic partnerships that promote long-term growth and help shape the club's commercial strategy.

You will manage global partnership sales activities, focusing on the EMEA region, and collaborate with the Head of Commercial Partnerships and the CFM sales network to ensure success. This role is crucial to our ongoing commercial success and the wider women’s sport ecosystem.

Your Impact

  1. Meet and exceed sales targets by recruiting high-value new partnerships.
  2. Maintain a strong pipeline of prospects and forecast deal delivery each season.
  3. Negotiate contracts and close partner deals at CXO level, traveling within the EMEA region as needed.
  4. Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure effective partner acquisition and collaboration across teams.
  5. Work with Business Intelligence to analyze data and make informed decisions, ensuring high standards in reporting and CRM usage.
  6. Create and deliver compelling presentations that reflect the CFG brand, working with the Design team to meet standards.

What we are looking for

  • High-level education (UK University 2:1 or higher)
  • Proven success in revenue growth with premium rights holders
  • Knowledge of the sports landscape, especially women’s sport
  • Fluent in English (speaking & writing)
  • Self-sufficient and proactive
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to articulate CFG’s story
  • Creative, persistent, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with sports sponsorship contracts and partnership programs
  • Experience with CRM tools, including Salesforce
  • Expertise in sales prospecting and contract negotiations
  • Experience in a rights-holder environment
