The role:

Main Purpose of the Job:

  • Contribute towards the company’s target for Partnership Recruitment through experienced financial advisers and business owners. Achieve personal gross recruits' target of new Partners and Advisers as agreed with the Head of Recruitment.
  • Ensure that all recruits meet the company’s commercial, cultural, and risk appetite.
Key Responsibilities of the Job:
  • Deliver great client outcomes by ensuring SJP has sufficient quantity and quality of Partners and Advisers for our clients.
  • Undertake the necessary tasks involved in the creation of recruitment activity, such as identifying and engaging the highest quality potential recruits.
  • Progress recruitment activities toward the recruitment and selection of new Partners and Advisers, including Insights, Business Planning, Proposition to Recruit, and Proposition to Clients.
  • Develop relationships to a level where prospective Partners or Advisers decide to accept the invitation to join SJP.
  • Support and consult Partners on creating compelling propositions for new recruits and ensure there are the right opportunities for Advisers.
  • Follow appropriate processes as prescribed by the company to maintain a professional and controlled recruitment environment, preserving SJP's reputation.
  • Work collaboratively with all internal stakeholders across SJP.
  • Enhance SJP's brand and reputation through positive engagement and awareness.

  • Detailed understanding of the financial landscape and marketplace.
  • Strong knowledge of risk management and consumer duty.
  • Strong knowledge of building business plans that help businesses grow through recruitment.
